 The Gateway American International School provides transportation for students who live within a reasonable distance of the school. A separate fee is charged for school bus transportation; it is not included in the tuition. Students are assigned buses at the beginning of the school year according to the geographical location of their homes. Parents bring all children to school on their first day. The children ride the bus home that afternoon, and are picked up by the bus the following morning and thereafter. Pre-kindergarten students are walked to their classrooms by the attendant. Other children, including kindergarten students after the first week, proceed to their classrooms unaccompanied. Every effort is made to minimize the time that all students spend on the bus. Students should be ready for their bus on time, and bus drivers have been asked to allow one minute’s grace before moving on.
The school bus would pick up the children only from the major pick up points chosen by the school. For more details contact the school office
